Adding to the F1 excitement which was going to take place for the very first time in India, Airtel partnered with Zoom TV to hunt its very first Grid Girl to flag of the show. And the need was to audition the girls and finalize 48 of them for a reality show that will determine Airtel F1 girl to flag off the show. We took the onus of doing the auditions by providing complete support for logistics and crew. Auditions took place in Bangalore- 13 September 2011; Delhi - 15 September 2011 and Mumbai - 17 September 2011. Some of the biggest celebrities were roped in as a panel of judges - Mumbai: actor Imran Khan and Pantaloons Femina Miss India Ankita Shorey; Bangalore: actress Kajal Agarwal and fashion designer Prasad Bidapa; Delhi: actors Jimmy Shergill, Randeep Hooda and Mahi Gill. The rounds majorly comprised of screening a participant's level of confidence and camera-friendliness. Shortlisted girls got a chance to do their free portfolio from a professional photographer. Bangalore auditions saw 27 shortlisted participants, Delhi - 34 shortlisted participants and Mumbai - 43 shortlisted participants. |
