As a part of the strategy to position Pepsi as a youth brand, Pepsico assigned Jagran Solutions the duty to come up with a youth engagement program. The objective was to create hype around the brand and maximize participation of our audience in the campaign. Keeping this in mind, we came up with 'Win a Date with Deepika'- a brand promotion activity that included interactive games like 'Propose and Win', 'Deepika's Fan No.1' and 'Ek Chutki Sindoor' complete with instant rewards and giveaways . Targeted at people between 18-25 years of age, the activity was held in major towns including Lucknow, Varanasi and Kanpur. We organized the activity in the form of a road show, in two time slots: morning and evening. A canter boarded by emcees and brand promoters covered the prime market locations and high footfall areas. The aim was to engage as many people as we could. Thanks to our strategic participation, people were drawn to our show in hordes. Our audience took active participation in the show and was happily surprised by our instant giveaways. By the end of it we had contacted over 12000 people, drawing a humungous response to the contest. Not to add, we were able to successfully establish Pepsi as a youth favorite!
