The challenge was to position Nokia X7's Symbian3 Anna OS as fast and the best gaming device for the TG who love speed, entertainment, social networking, sports and aspire to buy gadgets. We had to pull through the task when the handset market was cluttered with multiple other players with similar brands. Strategically, we set up 'Experiential Gaming Kiosks' in Malls & Nokia stores for 3 consecutive months where TG gathered in huge groups to play NFS Shift HD on Nokia X7. The activity was taken to over 200 outlets pan India - Delhi/NCR, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Vadodara, Coimbatore, Indore and Ahmedabad. Promoters were given stringent per day targets and were trained to give our TG live HD gaming experience. The X7 full throttle activity successfully positioned the phone as an ultimate gaming device by posting record sales in the very first month of the launch. Both the retail and mall activations engaged over 45000 people in the game and generated 21,350 walkins.
