Remote villages of Uttar Pradesh, India suffers from curable diseases but could not be served through hospitals as the villagers lack money and facility to commute to districts. "Hospital on Wheels" was strategized under the guidelines of the ruling Government. These air-conditioned Mobile Health Units are equipped with medical facilities. Team of Doctors, Nurses, Lab Attendants and Pharmacists are attending more than 3859 patients daily, offering medical treatments, medicines and diagnostic free of cost. Campaign has catered to more than 1157700 patients till date with 59 mobile vans covering 6285 villages. The initiative has achieved huge success for Government.
