WeChat, the new age messaging application was looking to engage audience around football as Messi has been associated with the brand. We created an engaging youth campaign and reached out to them at 18 Malls and 45 Colleges in Mumbai and Pune. The setup was thematically designed with Messi Backdrop and goal post with nets, replicating a football field. Audience had to be users of WeChat with minimum 20 active contacts and then take a chance to score a goal. Each person scoring a goal(s) was rewarded with Wechat Branded Goodies. The activity also helped highlight the various features of the app to the users.
